High Amplitude 2600W/15khz Ultrasonic Welding Converter For Assembly Welding Machine
Ultrasonic waves are transformed into mechanical vibrations through transducers. The characteristics of transducers depend on material selection and manufacturing process. The performance and service life of transducers of the same size and shape are very different. The commonly used high-power ultrasonic transducer is used in ultrasonic plastic welding machine, ultrasonic metal welding machine, various handheld ultrasonic tools, continuous working ultrasonic emulsifier, atomizer, ultrasonic engraving machine and so on. Commonly used products such as 15KHz 20KHz 28KHz 35KHz 40KHz 55KHz 70KHz can also design and produce non-standard transducers according to the special requirements of customers to meet all kinds of needs.
Ultrasonic welding is an industrial technique whereby high-frequency ultrasonic acoustic vibrations are locally applied to workpieces being held together under pressure to create a solid-state weld. It is commonly used for plastics, and especially for joining dissimilarmaterials. In ultrasonic welding, there are no connective bolts, nails, soldering materials, or adhesives necessary to bind the materials together.
Process :
For joining complex injection molded thermoplastic parts, ultrasonic welding equipment can be easily customized to fit the exact specifications of the parts being welded. The parts are sandwiched between a fixed shaped nest (anvil) and a sonotrode (horn) connected to a transducer, and a ~20 kHz low-amplitude acoustic vibration is emitted. (Note: Common frequencies used in ultrasonic welding of thermoplastics are 15 kHz, 20 kHz, 30 kHz, 35 kHz, 40 kHz and 70 kHz). When welding plastics, the interface of the two parts is specially designed to concentrate the melting process. One of the materials usually has a spiked energy director which contacts the second plastic part. The ultrasonic energy melts the point contact between the parts, creating a joint. This process is a good automated alternative to glue, screws or snap-fit designs. It is typically used with small parts (e.g. cell phones, consumer electronics, disposable medical tools, toys, etc.) but it can be used on parts as large as a small automotive instrument cluster. Ultrasonics can also be used to weld metals, but are typically limited to small welds of thin, malleable metals, e.g. aluminum, copper, nickel. Ultrasonics would not be used in welding the chassis of an automobile or in welding pieces of a bicycle together, due to the power levels required.
Using ultrasonics to weld plastic is a bit more complex. In this case, the ultrasonic vibrations are perpendicular to the weld joint. Because plastic is viscous-elastic, there is some loss of energy as the ultrasonic wave travels through the part. At the joint, the upper plastic part vibrates up and down against the lower fixed component. This creates inter-molecular friction which leads to heating and melting.
Ultrasonic welding of plastics applications include a wide range from electrical housings, display windows, toys, medical devices, mattresses and clothing, automotive interiors and engine components and lighting, etc.

Description:
Ultrasonic transducer is a component that utilize the piezoelectricity for actualize electroacoustic conversion. jydsonic ultrasonic cleaning transducer are used where powerful ultrasonic wave must be generated, such as in cleaning equipment and easy to instal. These transducers are mounted into a structure that can be bolted almost anywhere.
The transducer converts high-frequency electrical energy into high-frequency mechanical vibrations. And it contains several piezoelectric ceramic discs sandwiched under pressure between two metal blocks. Between each disc is a thin metal plate, which forms the electrode. When a sinusoidal electrical signal is fed to the transducer via the electrodes, the discs expand and contract, producing axial vibrations.
15Khz transducer widely used in high power welding&sealing system.Piezoelectric transducer is the electric charge that accumulates in certain solid materials in response to applied mechanical stress. It is key point of all ultrasonic equipment. The transducer decide the property of the machine. We can supply transducer, also transducer with house and booster.
To design and fabricate the transducers according to customers' requirements.
Advantage
1.Small machinery loss,
2.High efficiency electricity
3.Sound transfer,
4.Big swing and less heat.
5.Good construction
6.Easy to installation
7.High reliablity
The applications of ultrasonic welding are extensive and are found in many industries including electrical and computer, automotive and aerospace, medical and packaging. Whether two items can be ultrasonically welded is determined by their thickness. If they are too thick ,this process will not join them. This is the main obstacle in the welding of metals. However, wires, microcircuit connections, sheet metal, foils, ribbons and meshes are often joined using ultrasonic welding. Ultrasonic welding is a very popular technique for bonding thermoplastics. It is fast and easily automated with weld times often below one second and there is no ventilation system required to remove heat or exhaust.
